Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant

Job description

Nair Systems is currently looking for Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.

Knowledge & Experience:

? Bachelor Degree in IT or IT related field

? 6-8 years of experience in developing software applications, preferably, out of which at least 2 years with

insurance applications.

? In-depth knowledge and experience in Oracle 9i/10g+

? In-depth knowledge and experience in SQL and PL/SQL.

? Experience with Unix / Linux / Windows Server 2003 including basic commands and shell scripting.

? Oracle OCP Certification is a plus.

? Familiarity with Oracle specific tools and utilities.

? Knowledge of Quest TOAD

? Knowledge of PLSQL & SQL Developer

? Knowledge of XML and HTML

? Knowledge of open source web development and Java

Application Development

? Development and creation of packages, procedures and functions based on business requirements in Oracle Database 10G+.

? Development in forms and reports 10G+.

? Provision of support and assistance in the testing, tuning and implementation of database applications

? Creation and maintenance of SQL queries and routines

? Writing ad-hoc queries based on schema knowledge for various reporting requirements.

? Writing / Tuning data ingestion procedures from external suppliers and partners using PL/SQL, SQL loader, 3rd party tools like Toad etc.

? Required to deal with complex data models and object relational database mapping, while producing complex reports

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Continuous Improvement

Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Payroll unit systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

? Audit of compliance to operational procedures and instructions.

? The Application Developer reports to the Application Analyst and confers with the latter on critical issues.

? Key decisions having significant impact on Application development are referred to Manager of IT for approval before implementation.

? The IT function is responsible for directing, developing and managing the successful implementation of the IT Strategy for client by leading, directing and managing the IT Department in order to meet the requirements of the business and support both external and internal customer needs.

? Always review Compliance requirements and be Compliant to QCB and other regulations.
